The Edward Snowden’case

Edward Snowden is a former U.S. government employee who leaked classified information about government surveillance programs to the media in 2013. His disclosures revealed a number of controversial programs, including the U.S. National Security Agency's (NSA) PRISM surveillance program and the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency's (CIA) use of "zero day" vulnerabilities in software.

The information leaked by Snowden was published by several news outlets, including The Guardian and The Washington Post, and sparked a global debate about the balance between national security and personal privacy. Snowden argued that the government's surveillance programs were unconstitutional and violated the privacy rights of citizens, while the government argued that the programs were necessary for national security and had been authorized by Congress.

In the aftermath of the leaks, Snowden was charged with violating the U.S. Espionage Act and fled to Russia, where he was granted asylum. He has remained in Russia since then, and his case has continued to be a source of controversy and debate.

Some people view Snowden as a heroic whistleblower who exposed government wrongdoing and stood up for civil liberties, while others view him as a traitor who endangered national security and broke the law. The debate over his actions and their consequences continues to this day.

Edward Snowden did the right thing and he has even paid his choice. A global mass surveillance software must not be allowed for any company or goverment. "Privacy is not about something to hide but something to protect" he said. And this is the truth. If you haven't nothing to say or hide, why someone must be able to spy you constantly?
