Project Overview

What started as a simple personal website gradually evolved into a much more ambitious project. Initially built as a basic static site, it was soon migrated to WordPress to allow easier content management and publishing. However, as my technical skills and professional experience grew, WordPress began to feel limiting for the level of customization, performance, and architectural control I wanted.

This led me to transform the website into a fully custom Yii2 application, where I could experiment with backend architecture, modular development, and advanced features. Over time, the project expanded rapidly: new sections were added, content increased, and the site began to reflect not only my work but also my continuous learning journey as a software developer.

Like many long-term personal projects, it went through periods of rapid growth as well as moments of slowdown. During some challenging phases of my professional career, maintaining and evolving the platform became difficult, resulting in partial inactivity and technical debt accumulated over time.

Rather than continuing to patch and maintain outdated sections, I recently made a strategic decision to reset and rebuild the project from the ground up. The application has now been fully migrated to a modern Laravel stack, combined with Filament for a clean, efficient, and scalable admin experience.

The new platform includes:

• A multi-blog system for publishing technical articles and insights

• A portfolio section to showcase projects and professional experience

• A contact form to facilitate direct communication

Older content and sections were intentionally discarded to keep the project focused, maintainable, and aligned with my current skills and goals. While additional sections and projects will gradually return to the portfolio, my main focus moving forward will be on high-quality blog content, covering software development, engineering practices, and modern technologies.

This restart marks a new phase for the project: cleaner architecture, clearer direction, and consistent long-term growth. Many updates and new publications are planned—stay tuned.
